‘Scooter’ is truly one of my earliest baseball memories and a person who I will always associate with my love of the game and my beloved Yankees… I grew up listening to him broadcast games on WPIX while I hid under the sheets in my bed soaking up every ounce of Yankees fever I could get during the 1980’s. A true class act and someone who will be remembered fondly by millions.
